Stephens analyst Jack Atkins upgraded United Continental to Overweight from Equal Weight, stating that the company's three EPS guidance hikes this year not only bucks the trend of its peers but proves him wrong about the potential effectiveness of its domestic network growth strategy. Given its recent results and guidance, Atkins now has more confidence in United's ability to achieve its FY20 EPS target of $11-$13, he tells investors. The analyst, who expects the revenue momentum in the business to continue, raised his price target on United Continental shares to $112 from $90 and believes the stock warrants trading in the $110-$140 range over the next 12-18 months.
