Goldman Sachs analyst Adam Samuelson downgraded CVR Partners to Neutral from Buy with a price target of $3, down from $5. The analyst expects a more challenging 2020 for the company, driven by increased imports of urea ammonium nitrate into the U.S. combined with a narrowing UAN versus urea pricing premium. Further, a "lackluster" fall ammonia application season combined with a turnaround at the company's East Dubuque, IL facility should limit Q4 volumes and result in the company not paying a distribution for the quarter, Samuelson tells investors in a research note.
