As noted earlier, DA Davidson analyst Steven Chercover upgraded Domtar to Neutral from Underperform and raised his price target to $44 from $37. Chercover says the company "clearly demonstrated" its pricing benefits from Pulp in its Q1 earnings beat, adding that the potential from higher Uncoated Freesheet prices was also "evident". The analyst further notes the company's expectations for stronger FY18 cash flows and improved comps.
