Stifel analyst Brad Reback recommends using the selloff in shares of Ultimate Software (ULTI) after Oracle (ORCL) acquired NetSuite (N) as a buying opportunity. In March of 2015, Ultimate Software and NetSuite formed a go-to-market partnership, the analyst points out. The concern is that over time, Oracle would minimize the partnership. Reback remains "quite bullish" on Ultimate's overall market opportunity and he thinks any moves by Oracle would incur in 2017 at the earliest. He has an Outperform rating on the shares with a $235 price target.

Savitz writes in this week's edition of Barron's. Oracle continues to be a key provider of enterprise software applications and database software. But the key driver for Oracle is now cloud computing-and the associated opportunity in artificial intelligence, the author notes. Despite a three-year rally in Oracle shares, the stock still looks cheaper on almost every measure than rival enterprise software companies, the publication adds. Reference Link
