As previously reported, Cowen analyst Gregory Williams upgraded Uniti Group to Outperform from Market Perform with a $13 price target. The analyst said the Windstream settlement removes a major trial uncertainty overhang for the company, and believes the Uniti Group story can now "return to fundamentals with a much stronger... tenant." Williams sees Uniti delivering a 10%+ yield at its current stock price, which he sees as a "compelling play in the current environment."
