William Blair analyst Robert Napoli resumed coverage of USA Technologies with an Outperform rating. Before going Not Rated in February, Blair had an Outperform rating on the shares. USA Technologies is a "leader with strong market position in the attractive unattended retail payments market," Napoli tells investors in a research note. The analyst says he's impressed by the company's "steady strong" revenue growth and he's confident in its "large" market opportunities globally in unattended retail payments. While its margins remain disappointing, there is "significant upside potential" over time either as an independent company or as part of a larger payments company, contends the analyst. USA Technologies would likely be an attractive acquisition candidate for a larger payments company and deal synergies "would likely be substantial," according to Napoli.
