DA Davidson analyst Brent Thielman lowered his price target on U.S. Concrete to $70, saying that his analysis of Q4 estimates relative to the market conditions throughout the quarter suggests under-performance. The analyst cites adverse weather factors and wildfires in California leading to a reduction in his expected FY18 guidance to $183.5M from $195.5M, which is even further below the company's forecast range of $200M-$208M. Thielman also believes that U.S. Concrete will guide FY19 conservatively, but keeps his Buy rating longer term, stating that the company can de-lever successfully to reduce its financial risk.
