Canaccord analyst Camilo Lyon said the spin-off announced by VF Corp. does little to enhance the company's current valuation but is shows management is thinking well in advance strategically. The analyst said the separation provides a tax-advantaged event, allows management to focus on the respective businesses, and will cause capital efficiencies to improve. Lyon reiterated his buy rating and $108 price target on VF Corp. shares.
