After Bloomberg reported yesterday that Viacom 9VIA) warned of possible blackout for DISH (DISH) subscribers due to a fee dispute between the companies, Bernstein estimates that Viacom's stock would drop to $16-$24 if the company's channels are dropped by DISH. The firm thinks that, if such a scenario occurs, Viacom would have to "make painful cuts" and suspend its dividend. Bernstein keeps a $30 price target and Underperform rating on the shares.
