Craig-Hallum analyst Richard Shannon notes rumors that Ixia (XXIA) could be selling itself as a result of its strategic review. The analyst believes Viavi (VIAV) acquiring the company would likely be accretive and would be a share leader, which suggests it can make "a good deal of sense." He reiterates a Buy rating on Viavi's shares.
