BofA analyst Timna Tanners upgraded Vulcan Materials to Buy from Neutral with an unchanged $150 price target. The analyst cites improved construction outlook and "constructive" channel checks for expected 2020 activity, adding that while Q1 performance could be dampened by heavy rains, the quarter is also typically the weakest for the sector. Tanners further notes that Vulcan Materials' 2020 guidance "seems conservative".
