Barclays analyst Raimo Lenschow upgraded VMware to Overweight and raised his price target for the shares to $130 from $109. The stock looks undervalued as the thesis that VMware will lose market share as workloads move to the public cloud no longer seems valid, Lenschow tells investors in a research note. The analyst now expects the company to continue benefiting from workload growth.
