Jefferies analyst Brent Thill raised his price target for Varonis Systems to $105 from $95 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. The company's Q4 sales line modestly topped expectations despite another another of much faster transition to subscription relative to guidance, Thill tells investors in a research note. . History says to own Varonis shares now, especially on any weakness due to "transition-related short-term optical blips" such as suppressed total revenue growth or lower margins, adds the analyst. He believes the company is poised for revenue acceleration post-transition and eventual high profits.
