As previously reported, Needham analyst Ryan MacDonald initiated coverage of Verint with a Buy rating and $53 price target. The analyst notes that the company's "transition initiatives" in each of its business segment are still at an early stage and should result in an "improved" fundamental business model with double digit revenue growth rates and EBITDA margin expansion. MacDonald adds that the early part of this transition may make Verint's quarterly results volatile, but at 8.8-times enterprise value to his expected FY21 EBITDA estimate, he sees the transition risk as being priced into the stock.
