Citi analyst Michael Bilerman last night upgraded Ventas to Buy from Neutral and raised his price target for the shares to $76 from $67. Following the company's investor day, the analyst sees "accretive" external growth, stabilizing senior housing fundamentals, and an "attractive" relative valuation. He believes these "identifiable catalysts" and a return to earnings growth in 2020 will drive outperformance of Ventas shares.
