Wedbush analyst David Chiaverini said he is "optimistic" about the growth prospects for Webster Financial following a sell-side dinner on Thursday with President and Chief Executive Officer John Cuilla and Chief Financial Officer Glenn MacInnes. In a research note to investors, the analyst, who has an Outperform rating and $63 price target on shares, said the overall tone of the dinner was "positive" and believes guidance for the first quarter, which is unchanged, will be met or exceeded.
