William Blair analyst Justin Furby says his recent partner discussions suggest that Workday's enterprise financials activity has picked up in Q4. He believes the company recently signed financials deals at a Fortune 100 distributor that chose Workday for both human resources and financials, and at a Fortune 500 insurer that is an existing human resources customer and recently added financials. The Fortune 100 distributor deal is more notable, since it is the largest customer yet to sign on with Workday for financials, Furby tells investors in a research note. The analyst keeps an Outperform rating on the shares.
