BMO Capital analyst John Kim upgraded Welltower to Outperform from Market Perform and raised his price target for the shares to $86 from $73. After two years of declining earnings as the company cleaned up its portfolio, it is back on a "solid growth path," Kim tells investors in a research note. He was positively surprised by the "resilient" growth in Welltower's senior housing operating portfolio in Q1 and sees an improved balance sheet for the company along with an active acquisition pipeline.
