SunTrust analyst Andrew Jeffrey lowered his price target on Wex to $220 after its in-line Q3 results and below-consensus guidance for Q4, noting that the "slack trucking demand" has resulted in declining same-store sales. The analyst adds that his prior view of the company being able to overcome the headwinds with its non-fleet business and operating leverage was "too aggressive". Jeffrey still keeps his Buy rating on Wex longer term as he sees the company as a "structural share gainer" with attractive and faster-growing non-Fuel offerings.
