Catch up on today's top five analyst downgrades with this list compiled by The Fly: 1. Weatherford (WFT) downgraded to Underweight at Stephens by analyst Matthew Marietta, who said he is taking the approach to "shoot-first-ask-questions-later," especially with the company's $600M maturity approaching, reliance on inventory reduction for cash flows, uncertainty surrounding the slope of a recovery and heightened competitive landscape. 2. Dick's Sporting (DKS) downgraded to Underweight at Morgan Stanley with analyst Simeon Gutman expecting ROIC to be pressured over time given the imbalance between store only comps, which are down 1.4%, and square footage growth, up 7.1%, and said new stores equating to higher sales may no longer apply in the omni-channel world. 3. GNC Holdings (GNC) downgraded to Equal Weight at Morgan Stanley by analyst Simeon Gutman, who expects ROIC to be pressured over time given the imbalance between store productivity and square footage growth, and believes refranchising efforts will not be executed quickly enough to free up the company's capital base. 4. Roadrunner (RRTS) downgraded to Underweight at BB&T by analyst Thomas Albrecht, who said he has a low level of confidence in the company's guidance as there needs to be a significant ramp in performance. He expects further multiple compression due to its inconsistent operating history and financial leverage. The company was also downgraded to Sector Weight at Keybanc citing the company's softer Q1 results and underlying freight activity. 5. Cirrus Logic (CRUS) downgraded to Equal Weight at Barclays with analyst Blayne Curtis saying the risk/reward is less compelling as the Apple (AAPL) supply chain struggles. The analyst sees a weaker iPhone 7 cycle with likely no major form factor changes or features until 2017. This list is just a portion of The Fly's full analyst coverage.
