BMO Capital analyst Gerrick Johnson does not recommend buying the stocks of RV manufacturers in the wake of Hurricane Harvey. He notes that RV makers Winnebago (WGO) and Thor (THO) have risen more than 4% over the past week. However, he says that Winnebago's vehicles are too expensive for the government. And since Thor has capacity constraints, any orders from the government will just prevent it from selling RVs to "the robust retail market," the analyst stated. Additionally, he noted that the RV makers had to deal with many lawsuits that cost them "undisclosed millions in legal fees" in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. He keeps Market Perform ratings on Thor and Winnebago.
