BofA/Merrill analyst Denise Chai raised Whirlpool's price target to $230 from $215 and reiterated its Buy rating following the favorable US Department of Commerce final decision in the dumping case for washers manufactured in China against Samsung and LG, saying they are in violation of US and International trade law. Chai believes the ruling will result in a more rational pricing environment.
