Goldman Sachs analyst Brian Singer added WPX Energy to the Conviction Buy List and raised its price target to $21 from $18. Singer said WPX's Permian/Bakken resource base is well positioned and sees 30% oil volume CAGR in 2018-2019 and a free-cash-flow inflection which remains underappreciated by the Street. The analyst expects asset sales/monetizations and EBITDA margin improvement as catalysts for shares.
