DA Davidson analyst Linda Bolton Weiser kept her Buy rating and $143 price target on Weight Watchers, saying her investor meeting with CFO Nick Hotchkin highlighted his optimism about the company's launch of the rewards program in October. Weiser notes that while the program was intended to be a "retention enhancer", the CFO believes that it will add to subscriber growth in 2019. The analyst also cites Hotchkin's positive view toward Weight Watchers initiatives around "capturing new demographics, bringing technology to meetings, introducing more personalization to the experience, and driving in-app purchases."
