As noted earlier, Argus analyst John Staszak upgraded Wolverine World Wide to Buy from Hold with a price target of $40 after it posted "solid earnings" in its core businesses and raised its FY18 guidance. The analyst notes that the company's top selling brands - Merrell and Sperry - reported better than expected revenues, while its international division also outperformed. With better than expected earnings in 26 out of the past 28 quarters, Staszak expects Wolverine World Wide to further ramp up sales thanks to the company's "marketing initiatives and a strong product pipeline".
