Argus analyst John Staszak lowered his 2015 earnings per share estimate for Wynn Resorts to $3.20 from $4.20 and 2016 estimate to $4.70 from $5.40 to reflect weakness in Macau. A smoking ban in casinos, modest credit growth, slowing growth in Mainland China and visa restrictions by the Chinese government are negatively impacting gaming industry results in the region, Staszak tells investors in a research note. Consensus estimates for Wynn are likely to trend lower, the analyst adds. He keeps a Hold rating on the stock.
