The Department of Commerce's preliminary antidumping duties on lumber imported from Canada of 6.87% came in at the top end of Citi analyst Anthony Pettinari's expectations of 2%-7%. Lumber should remain elevated given "solid" underlying demand and higher Canadian costs, with Weyerhaeuser as the key beneficiary, the analyst tells investors in a research note. He keeps a Buy rating on the shares with a $39 price target.
