Baird analyst Joseph Allman updated his model on Cimarex Energy and moved it to a Fresh Pick. The analyst noted the stock's underperformance and understands the market's concerns about its Permian oil and gas takeaway, but he thinks its oil and gas flow assurance trumps the pricing concerns. On the oil side, it has been offset by higher WTI prices and on the gas side is a relatively small contributor to cash flow. Allman reiterated his Outperform rating and $136 price target on Cimarex Energy shares.
