Boenning & Scattergood upgraded Xylem to Outperform from Neutral with a $55 price target. Analyst Ryan Connnors said Xylem is a "best-of-breed bellwether" in the water space with sustained above-market growth driven by a comprehensive product portfolio and innovative pipeline. The analyst believes the recent Sensus acquisition positions the company to the forefront of the accelerating trend towards "smart water" networks.
