As previously reported, Seaport Global analyst Walter Liptak downgraded Xylem to Neutral from Buy, stating that its outlook has begun to show "pockets of weakness," particularly in its industrial end markets. While he continues to think Xylem "will be one of the premiere water infrastructure companies," Liptak is concerned about the short-term headwind of weakening industrial end markets and cut his 2019 and 2020 EPS estimates given the slower industrial environment.
