Piper Jaffray analyst Brett Wong raised his price target for Zoetis to $86 saying his firm's consumer survey supports U.S. companion animal growth. After an increase in 2017, the survey suggests almost 10% of respondents plan to increase the number of pets in their household in 2018, compared to just over 5% expecting to decrease, Wong tells investors in a research note. The analyst believes the trend of increasing pets per household remains a tailwind for Zoetis, and he still believes the underpenetrated dermatology market provides a "strong" growth opportunity. Wong keeps an Outperform rating on Zoetis.
