SunTrust analyst William Stein kept his Buy rating and $316 price target on Nvidia, saying its disappointing Q3 outlook is a "stutter-step mostly isolated to crypto". The analyst adds that even taking the crypto component out of the company's model has sales growing at about 23% rate, with datacenter, auto, and gaming segment growth expectations all beating consensus. Stein expects Nvidia to continue to outperform thanks to its revenue and earnings upside potential across most segments, lowering his FY19 EPS view only modestly to $8.18 from $8.23 after the latest update.
