Roth Capital analyst Craig Irwin contends that Plug Power (PLUG) is buying 2017 revenue, margin, and earnings visibility from Wal-Mart (WMT) with its agreement which includes the issuance of dilutive warrants, while the company is also eroding the quality of its future revenue, margins, and earnings with the deal. He keeps a Sell rating and $1.30 price target on Plug Power shares, which are up 12% to $2.38 in afternoon trading.
