Energy Transfer Partners call options drawing interest again Tuesday
Energy Transfer Partners call options drawing interest again Tuesday. Shares down 2c to $16.36 and 8.6K Jan 20s trade for 50c when bid-ask was 40 to 50c. The bullish play appears to add to 10K opened yesterday: open interest is now 60.7K and the largest in the name. Two days of call buyign this week comes after MLPs saw an uptick in volatility late last week on reports the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission [FERC] will no longer allow recovery of income tax allowance in the cost of service for these entities. While ETP has shed 7.6% since the reports, the growing interest in Jan 20 calls expresses confidence that shares will rebound through the remainder of 2018.
