Wynn settlement step towards $200 per share, says Nomura Instinet
Nomura Instinet analyst Harry Curtis believes investors should view the settlement agreement announced last night by Wynn Resorts as a step toward realizing the over $200 per share value he sees in the stock. The agreement, which some analyses had above $5B, removes the potential for a "fearfully dilutive settlement, Curtis tells investors in a research note. He believes a key risk has been removed and that Wynn has upside as a standalone current and takeover candidate. The analyst keeps a Buy rating on the shares with a $211 price target.

Wynn Resorts price target lowered to $215 from $221 at Deutsche Bank
Deutsche Bank analyst Carlo Santarelli lowered his price target for Wynn Resorts shares to $215 to reflect the Universal settlement, higher interest expense associated with a new market rate instrument and the increased dividend. The analyst, however, continues to believe "strong operating momentum and a focus on shareholder value creation" leaves room for further upside in shares. He keeps a Buy rating on Wynn Resorts.

Las Vegas Sands, Wynn Resorts targets raised at Morgan Stanley after Macau trip
After visiting Macau last week, Morgan Stanley analyst Thomas Allen raised his 2018/2019 EBITDA forecast for Las Vegas Sands by 1%, citing strong visitation growth over Chinese New Year, less MGM (MGM) Cotai cannibalization, and less renovation disruption at Cotai Central, all of which make him lower his projection for Las Vegas' market share decline to only 0.4% in loss versus his prior view of a 1% share loss. While it appears the new MGM Cotai has attracted a lot of visitors since opening, Allen believes a mixture of service issues and low hold will impact near-term results. For Wynn Resorts (WYNN), Allen raised his 2018/2019 EBITDA view by 4%/2% to reflect stronger results in both Macau and Vegas. Allen increased his price target on Las Vegas Sands shares to $82 from $81, upped his Wynn target to $194 from $193 and keeps a $40 price target on MGM Resorts.
