Hill International awarded contract to deliver Mumbai transit link in India
Hill International announced that it has received a contract from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority to provide the General Consultancy Services for the $2.26B Mumbai Metro Line 4 as part of a consortium consisting of DB Engineering & Consulting as the lead partner and Louis Berger Consulting Pvt. as another partner. The project consists of a 32.3 KM elevated corridor and includes 32 stations along the Wadala-Ghatkopar-Mulund-Thane-Kasarvadavali corridor. Hill is serving in a consortium whose general services will comprise design review, project management and construction supervision. The project is expected to reduce current travel times by 50-75%, according to officials.
