MercadoLibre price target lowered to $380 from $410 at Barclays
Barclays analyst Deepak Mathivanan lowered his price target for MercadoLibre to $380 ahead of the company's Q1 results. He keeps an Overweight rating on the shares. Incremental costs associated with the Correios rate hike in March, potential unit growth deceleration and lower operating margin are areas of potential headwinds in the near-term, Mathivanan tells investors in a research note. He expects a "noisy" Q1 print.

Amazon Brazilian partnership report a negative for MercadoLibre, says Citi
Citi analyst Alana Imaizumi noted that O Globo newspaper is reporting that Amazon (AMZN) is discussing a partnership in Brazil with Casino Group involving appliance and electronics retailer Via Varejo. MercadoLibre price target lowered to $350 from $415 at Piper Jaffray
Piper Jaffray analyst Michael Olson lowered his price target for MercadoLibre to $350 saying the company's sales growth in Q1 came at the expense of earnings. MercadoLibre posted a loss after absorbing increased shipping costs in Brazil, Olson tells investors in a post-earnings research note. He points out the company is in an investment phase to drive further share gains and revenue growth. Olson, while admitting the shares will be in the "penalty box" with some investors near-term, keeps an Overweight rating on MercadoLibre.

MercadoLibre price target raised to $450 from $385 at BofA/Merrill

As a result, the analyst raised MercadoLibre's price target to $450 from $385 and reiterated a Buy rating on shares.

Walmart deal for Flipkart more dilutive than anticipated, says Morgan Stanley
Morgan Stanley analyst Simeon Gutman noted that news reports heading up to Walmart's (WMT) deal for a majority stake in Flipkart had predicted a $12B transaction for about 60% of a business generating operating losses in the $1B range. However, the higher than expected magnitude of losses Walmart would absorb in India significantly raises the stakes on the trajectory of its U.S. business and clouds the near-term path, he said. He also questions why the company is investing outside the U.S. market, stating that it could have instead accelerated its third-party marketplace infrastructure, stepped up its partnership with Google Home (GOOG) to better compete with Amazon's (AMZN) Alexa, or intensified domestic investments in price and fulfillment. However, he does add that the deal prevents Amazon, for now, from building an "insurmountable" advantage in the important Indian market. Gutman lowered his price target on Walmart to $93 from $99 after the deal was more dilutive than anticipated and keeps an Equal Weight rating on the shares.

Needham analyst Alex Henderson raised his price target on Mimecast (MIME) to $49 and kept his Buy rating after its "strong" Q4 results and initial FY19 guidance. The analyst notes that the wider than expected loss was in part due to the costs around the company's move to Lexington headquarters. Henderson adds that the upcoming quarter will be the first under the ASC 606 model, which should weigh on revenues but also add "solidly" to operating margins. The analyst is also positive on Mimecast's expansion in Europe following a "smooth" build-out in Germany, while its partnership with Microsoft (MSFT) is not changing despite the comments made regarding security around Office 365.

Piper survey shows most Netflix subscribers willing to pay more
Piper Jaffray analyst Michael Olson says his firm's survey of 1,100 domestic Netflix subscribers shows that most would be willing to pay more to remain subscribers of the service, with some willing to pay significantly more. Specifically, 64% of subscribers surveyed indicated that they would not cancel Netflix until it reaches a price of greater than $15 per month. Among those, 23% said they wouldn't cancel until pricing reached greater than $20 per month, and 5% would only cancel if pricing was well above $20 per month. The conclusion is that Netflix could raise monthly prices to $15 or more today and approximately two-thirds of subs would absorb the increase and remain on the service, Olson tells investors in a research note. Compared to a similar survey taken in mid-2016, a higher percentage of subscribers are willing to pay a higher monthly fee, suggesting Netflix content has improved, the analyst adds. Olson reiterates an Overweight rating on Netflix with a $367 price target. The streaming service closed yesterday up $2.07 to $328.53.

Netflix valuation remains 'significantly higher' than peers, says Argus
Argus analyst Joseph Bonner kept his Hold rating on Netflix (NFLX) but raised his FY18 EPS view to $2.89 from $2.73 after the company's Q1 earnings beat. The analyst says the company is benefiting from the "secular growth of internet-delivered on-demand video" but also warns that it is taking on more debt, resulting in a "stunning" cash-burn rate. Bonner adds that the market is still judging the company by its subscriber growth while overlooking the costs associated with the ramp in content production and content licensing. The analyst is also cautious on Netflix valuation as its trailing enterprise value to EBITDA multiple is 136-times relative to 29-times peer average and 48-times at Amazon (AMZN).
