Treasury Action: yields steadied above lows
Treasury Action: yields steadied above lows following the rash of solid retail, trade price and jobless claims data, which came in hot behind the earlier ECB-induced swings on Bunds and Treasuries. The 2-year yield rebalanced near 2.56% after swinging from 2.570-2.553%; the 5-year settled near 2.81% from 2.828-2.804%; the 10-year steadied near 2.94% from 2.960-2.933%; and the bond yield settled near 3.05% after fluctuating between 3.074-3.048%. The bullish flattener remained intact with yields 2.1 to 4.9 basis points lower along the curve as the long-end outperforms with Bunds. The 2s-30s spread is inside +50 bp and the Bund/T-note spread widened further to -249 bp as Bunds continue to outperform on Draghi's ongoing presser.
