Estee Lauder sues Deciem after founder Brandon Truaxe shuts stores, WSJ saysEstee Lauder is suing Deciem and its founder, Brandon Truaxe, in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice after he moved to temporarily shut all of the skincare company's stores because of what he described as "major criminal activity," The Wall Street Journal reports. Estee Lauder, which holds a minority stake in Deciem, is requesting that Truaxe be removed as co-CEO and that Nicola Kilner, the other co-CEO, serve as sole CEO on an interim basis, and also asks that Truaxe be removed from the board of directors. Estee Lauder is also asking Truaxe to be barred from managing Deciem's operations and from modifying, deleting or disabling online posts related to the company. Reference Link |
