Treasury Dealer meeting agenda:
Treasury Dealer meeting agenda: the Treasury is asking dealers about their expectations for the FOMC's balance sheet wind-down. Specifically, the debt managers asked for "the range of estimates about (1) the possible timing of the end of portfolio normalization and (2) the composition of Treasury security holdings in the SOMA portfolio after normalization. Please provide your expectations for these two factors and explain how they affect your estimates of Treasury’s borrowing needs over the next 3 years." There was also a question on a white paper from the Market Practices Group on clearing and settlements. Those were supplemental questions, along with the usual ones regarding economic and fiscal forecasts, as well as auction forecasts, etc. The meeting will be October 25, 26.
