HP Enterprise starts $5.1B legal battle against Mike Lynch in London, BI reportsHP Enterprise and Autonomy founder Mike Lynch have begun their $5.1B legal battle in London's High Court, Shona Ghosh of Business Insider reports. HP's $11B acquisition of Lynch's Autonomy in 2011 will be put under the microscope as the company has alleged Lynch and the company's former CFO Sushovan Hussain overstated Autonomy's value. Both deny the claims, with Lynch countersuing for $150M. Lynch has already been charged of fraud in the U.S. where he did not attend proceedings, which could complicate the court battle.
