Lockheed Martin subsidiary awarded $1.13B Navy contract modification
Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin company, has been awarded a $1.13B modification to a previously awarded fixed-price-incentive-firm, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract. This modification provides for the procurement of 12 Lot II and Lot III low-rate initial production CH-53K aircraft, including programmatic support, logistics support, and peculiar support equipment. Work is expected to be completed in December 2023. FY18 aircraft procurement funds in the amount of $509.05M and aircraft procurement funds in the amount of $617.16M, with a total of $1.13B will be obligated at the time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command is the contracting activity.
