American Outdoor Brands price target raised to $12 from $10 at Craig-Hallum
Craig-Hallum analyst Steve Dyer raised his price target for American Outdoor Brands to $12 from $10 saying that while the company's planned separation has "pros and cons," the shares are "materially undervalued." The pros include isolating its firearms liability and negative public sentiment to Smith & Wesson, and the cons include lost synergies, Dyer tells investors in a research note. The analyst, however, thinks value could be unlocked as American Outdoor undergoes the spin-off of its Outdoor Products segment into a separate public company. In addition, signs of stabilization in the firearm demand environment brings confidence that estimate cuts are over and the stock can re-rate higher, says the analyst, who reiterates a Buy rating on the shares.

Lovesac price target lowered to $30 from $45 at Craig-Hallum
Craig-Hallum analyst Alex Fuhrman lowered his price target for Lovesac to $30 from $45 and reiterated a Buy rating after the company reported mixed Q3 results. In a research note to investors, Fuhrman says he believes that fundamentals remain strong and sees this as a great opportunity to buy into a business with 50%+ gross margins and 25%+ same-store sales.

Lovesac resumed with a Buy at Canaccord
Canaccord analyst Maria Ripps resumed coverage of Lovesac with a Buy. The analyst noted China tariffs disrupted the company's supply chain leading to a negative turn in the share price. She believes the move lower has been an over-reaction since the company already had initiated a shift towards Vietnamese suppliers. Ripps said its Q2 results solidified investor perception of the company's ability to execute helping the stock recover some of its lost ground. Ripps has a $33 price target on Lovesac shares.

Fly Intel: Top five analyst downgrades
Catch up on today's top five analyst downgrades with this list compiled by The Fly: 1. Lovesac (LOVE) downgraded to Hold from Buy at Stifel with analyst Scott Devitt saying the company reported lower than expected revenue growth in fiscal Q3 and has experienced a sustained deceleration in revenue growth over the past few quarters. 2. Hanesbrands (HBI) downgraded to Underperform from Neutral at BofA/Merrill with analyst Heather Balsky saying she sees risk of multiple contraction as Champion sales decelerate from "peak levels" and the C9 exit from Target constrains the company's 2020 sales and earnings growth. 3. Huntington Bancshares (HBAN) downgraded to Neutral from Buy at UBS with analyst Brock Vandervliet saying the shares have rallied 29% year-to-date, outperforming the sector by nine points. 4. Patterson-UTI (PTEN) and Oil States (OIS) downgraded to Underweight from Neutral at JPMorgan. 5. Gilead (GILD) downgraded to Underperform from Neutral at Credit Suisse with analyst Evan Seigerman saying the company's setup for 2020 "remains challenging" with an "unclear" strategy from new management. Veritone downgraded to Hold at Craig-Hallum after 'disapointing' Q3 results
Craig-Hallum analyst Chad Bennett downgraded Veritone to Hold from Buy with a price target of $3, down from $4 following the company's Q3 results. In a research note to investors, Bennett says he is "disappointed" by the substantial deceleration in revenue growth, especially in the aiWARE business. Bennett tells investors in a research note that the company started cost cutting efforts, but says revenue needs to accelerate meaningfully or cost cuts need to be deeper for the stock to work.

Veritone initiated with an Outperform at JMP Securities
JMP Securities analyst Patrick Walravens initiated Veritone with an Outperform rating and $10 price target, stating that he believes the company has a big addressable market opportunity with its "ambitious plan" to build an artificial intelligence operating system and applications. His due diligence with six customers and partners points to strong use cases in the media and legal industries and emerging use cases in public safety, Walravens tells investors.

Veritone price target lowered to $7 from $10 at JMP Securities
JMP Securities analyst Patrick Walravens lowered his price target on Veritone to $7 after its in-line Q3 results and below-consensus Q4 guidance. H.C. Wainwright analyst Kevin Dede started Alkaline Water with a Buy rating and $3 price target. The bottled water beverage segment has steadily captured market share from soda, and the company's line extension should power its growth, Dede tells investors in a research note. The stock is "flying below investors' radar while Alkaline Water is on verge of launching new products and expanding distribution nationally," says the analyst.
