NextEra Energy Partners announced an offering of $600M in aggregate principal amount of its convertible senior notes due 2025 in a private placement to qualified institutional buyers. NextEra Energy Partners intends to use the net proceeds from this offering to redeem a portion of NextEra Energy Operating Partners' outstanding 4.25% senior notes due 2024, as well as to pay the initial cost of its capped call transactions.
