The front end and the belly of the curve are pacing the turnaround as Fed rate hike projections, with risk of a June start, were viewed as too aggressive. The wi 2-year is and the 3-year rates are now 3.5 bps lower at 0.465% and 0.737%, respectively, after hitting overnight highs of 0.495% and 0.782%. The wi 5-year is 3 bps richer at 1.185% versus a 1.235% peak earlier. The 10-year rate is 1 bp lower at 1.624% versus 1.67%. The curve is at 119.8 bps after widening 2.5 bps to 120 bps at the open from 117.5 bps on Friday.
