Catch up on today's top five analyst downgrades with this list compiled by The Fly: 1. Intel (INTC) downgraded to Sell from Hold at Loop Capital with analyst Cody Acree saying the company finished 2019 with solid performance and its Q1 guidance calls for "better than normal" seasonality, but he warns that the annual compares upside will "deteriorate quickly", with Intel's own 2020 guidance calling for just 2% growth in revenue. 2. Comcast (CMCSA) downgraded to Neutral from Buy at UBS with analyst John Hodulik saying he expects 2020 to be an "investment year" for the company as increased capital expenditure and investment in Peacock pressure its free cash flows. 3. Discover (DFS) downgraded to Neutral from Overweight at Piper Sandler and to Underperform from In Line at Evercore ISI. 4. JetBlue (JBLU) downgraded to In Line from Outperform at Evercore ISI with analyst Duane Pfennigwerth saying he contends that the company's revenue execution has been mixed and "may continue to be two-steps forward, one-step back" given competition from both network and low-cost carriers. 5. Take-Two (TTWO) downgraded to Neutral from Buy at MKM Partners with analyst Eric Handler saying he maintains a positive view on its longer term position as the "best run publisher in the video games space" and points to its strong base of titles, but attributes the rating change to increasing concern about the lack of visibility in its 2021 content pipeline. Comcast post-earnings selloff another buying opportunity, says Benchmark » 09:1401/2401/24/20
Benchmark analyst Matthew…
Benchmark analyst Matthew Harrigan said he views yesterday's selloff in Comcast shares as "yet another" buying opportunity as he believes weakness at Sky and NBCU in Q1 should be transitory and that NBCUniversal results in the second half of 2020 should benefit from Olympic and political advertising, some high-profile films and the new Super Nintendo World attraction opening at Universal Studios Japan. He maintains a Buy rating and $64 price target on Comcast shares.
Comcast price target raised to $53 from $49 at SunTrust » 07:5201/2401/24/20
SunTrust analyst Greg…
SunTrust analyst Greg Miller raised his price target on Comcast to $53 and kept his Buy rating after its Q4 earnings beat and 2020 guidance. The analyst says the earnings call has shifted the narrative from the trade-off between video sub losses and higher margin data subscribers to one of the company's growth investments and difficult comps expected in the first half of 2020. Miller contends however that the pressure will prove "temporary" and he sees his implied 9.5-times enterprise value to expected 2021 EBITDA multiple as "attractive".
Comcast downgraded to Neutral from Buy at UBS » 06:4101/2401/24/20
UBS analyst John Hodulik…
UBS analyst John Hodulik downgraded Comcast to Neutral from Buy with a $49 price target. The analyst expects 2020 to be an "investment year" for the company as increased capital expenditure and investment in Peacock pressure its free cash flows. Hodulik adds that while the cable business at Comcast "remains strong", particularly in broadband internet, its programming renewals will see its EBITDA growth decelerate over the next two years. The analyst sees a more balanced risk-reward for Comcast given that the stock is currently valued similarly to pure-play cable peers in spite of its 34% exposure to non-U.S. cable.

Stifel says continues to recommend buying Netflix shares on pullbacks » 14:0801/2301/23/20

Stifel analyst Scott…
Stifel analyst Scott Devitt reiterated a Buy rating and $390 price target on Netflix (NFLX) after Comcast (CMCSA) reported further declines in its residential video subscribers. Devitt said that comparing Netflix to introductory pricing and/or inferior over-the-top products as a justification for worrying about the competitive climate is missing the fact that the cable, telecom, and satellite video industry is shrinking "with no end in sight." The analyst added that any investor who believes that Netflix's peers on TT won't raise prices over time has "likely never paid their own admission to Disneyland." Devitt also said that while he believes the days of 37x and 7x appreciation in Netflix's shares are in the past, he continues to believe that the shares should double over the next four to five years.
