SunTrust analyst Youssef Squali raised the firm's price target on eBay (EBAY) to $50 from $40 but keeps a Hold rating on the shares. The company provided a bullish intra-quarter business update with April's gross merchandise volume strength continuing into May while also raising its Q2 earnings and revenue guidance, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Squali adds that while eBay's solid performance highlights the benefits for e-commerce from sheltering-in-place due to Covid-19, the improvement may not be related to the platform and may not be sustainable as Amazon (AMZN) regains its shipping efficiency and federal unemployment benefits unwind.

RBC Capital analyst Alex Zukin raised the firm's price target on Slack Technologies (WORK) to $38 from $28 and keeps an Outperform rating on the shares. The company had a "strong start" in FY21 as its Q1 results topped guidance and consensus across billings, revenue, and profitability, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Zukin adds that Slack's FY21 guidance was increased, and while billings outlook was pulled due to conservatism on the macro front, he also notes the "decreasing relevance" of billings. The analyst further states that Slack is a "leading brand in enterprise software with a differentiated asset" and remains a "very logical strategic target" for Amazon's (AMZN) AWS.

Walravens adds that Domo can still benefit from its improving partnerships with Amazon (AMZN) and Microsoft (MSFT).

Amazon, Slack announce multi-year agreement over enterprise collaboration » 17:1606/0406/04/20
Amazon Web Services, an…
Amazon Web Services, an Amazon.com company (AMZN), and Slack Technologies, Inc. (WORK) announced a new multi-year agreement to deliver solutions for enhanced enterprise workforce collaboration. Slack and AWS will strategically partner to help distributed development teams communicate and become more efficient and agile in managing their AWS resources from inside Slack. Slack will migrate its Slack Calls capability for all voice and video calling to Amazon Chime, AWS's communications service that lets users meet, chat, and place business calls. Slack is also leveraging AWS's global infrastructure to support enterprise customers' rapid adoption of its platform and to offer them data residency - the ability to choose which country or region their data is stored at rest in while fulfilling compliance requirements. Slack continues to rely on AWS as its preferred cloud provider and will use a range of AWS services, including storage, compute, database, security, analytics, and machine learning, to develop new collaboration features. Additionally, AWS has agreed to use Slack to simplify the way teams at AWS communicate and work together. "The future of enterprise software will be driven by the combination of cloud services and workstream collaboration tools," said Stewart Butterfield, CEO and co-founder of Slack. "Strategically partnering with AWS allows both companies to scale to meet demand and deliver enterprise-grade offerings to our customers. By integrating AWS services with Slack's channel-based messaging platform, we're helping teams easily and seamlessly manage their cloud infrastructure projects and launch cloud-based services without ever leaving Slack."
