Aviat Networks expects…
Aviat Networks expects Q2, 1H20 and 2020 results to come in lower than previously forecasted due to a cyberattack at one of the company's contract manufacturing vendors. While this issue was quickly and fully remediated by the vendor and is not expected to have any impact on Aviat on a go-forward basis, the company's revenue, gross margins and anticipated profitability for the first half of its fiscal 2020 were affected. Aviat had previously expected that for the six-month periods in FY20 and 2019, total revenue would be down modestly, gross margins would improve, non-GAAP operating income would be approximately $6M, and adjusted EBITDA would be approximately $7.5M. The company now expects total revenue to be $55.5M-$56.5M in Q2 and $114.0M-$115.0M for 2020 six-month period. North America revenue is expected to be up $10.5M-$11.5M and international revenue is expected to be down $21.5M-$22.5M vs. fiscal 2019 six-month periods. Q2 gross margins are anticipated to be 32.5% to 33.0% and 1H20 gross margins 35.5% to 36.0%vs. 32.2% in the fiscal 2019 six-month period. Non-GAAP operating loss in Q2 is anticipated to be $0.9M/$1.1M and for 1H, non-GAAP operating income is expected to be $2.0M-$2.2 M. Adjusted EBITDA in Q2 is anticipated to be near break-even, and for the fiscal 2020 six-month period is expected to be $4.0 to $4.2 million.
