Catch up on today's top five analyst upgrades with this list compiled by The Fly: 1. Southwest (LUV) upgraded to Buy from Sell at Goldman Sachs with analyst Catherine O'Brien saying the company's predominantly domestic network and "industry-leading" balance sheet will drive a relatively faster recovery post-COVID-19 versus peers. 2. CDW (CDW) upgraded to Outperform from Market Perform at Raymond James with analyst Adam Tindle citing a "meaningful" year-to-date underperformance, which began prior to the pandemic. 3. Middleby (MIDD) upgraded to Overweight from Sector Weight at KeyBanc with analyst Jeffrey Hammond saying given "mounting evidence" supporting an early-April bottom and sustaining improvement thereafter, the analyst now believes there's enough fundamental stability to form a case around valuation, in which Middleby's multiple sits well below the high end of the range. 4. Big Lots (BIG) upgraded to Buy from Hold at Loop Capital with analyst Anthony Chukumba saying the company is "ideally positioned" in the current environment given its essential retailer status, value price points, and extensive home furniture/furnishings merchandise assortment. 5. Mosaic (MOS) double upgraded to Buy from Underperform at BofA by analyst Steve Byrne upgraded Mosaic after the company announced on Friday that it has filed anti-dumping petitions to the Dept. of Commerce and the International Trade Commission related to U.S. imports of phosphate fertilizer from Morocco and Russia.
