Shorting Clean Energy here seems risky, says Raymond James » 07:3902/0302/03/20
Raymond James analyst…
Raymond James analyst Pavel Molchanov upgraded Clean Energy to Market Perform from Underperform. The analyst tells investors in a research note that there is nothing company-specific that prompts this change, but it is purely a function of oil market dynamics in the context of the most oil-centric stock in his clean tech coverage. The analyst adds that keeping in mind the close relationship between oil prices and investor sentiment on Clean Energy, and given his forecast for oil to reach seven-year highs in 2021, he thinks that shorting the shares at current levels is not advisable.
